Our Lives Are Changing
21/07/2010
Hey everyone, we hope you're all doing well and warm this winter, its insanely cold here where I'm writing this update, fingers are frozen to the bone.
Firstly, we apologize for lack of updates and explanations for member changes within Truth & Its Burden, we've had a lot on our minds lately within this band and our personal lives that have left us in a constant disposition.

As some of you already know, we've parted ways ways with Peter our drummer. It was not an easy decision but shortly after returning from our first European tour it was clear we had to make drastic changes if we wished to carry on this band. Its not been an easy road over the last few months and we've swayed and wondered where this is all going, with no end result in sight.

Recently we were lucky to find a new drummer to fill the position nicely and we immediately began working on a new album. Our new man behind the drums came in the form of Dale Keegan, a young and vibrant drummer also more known for his drumming in his other band, We The Sage. We are really happy with the progress we've been making so far and we're looking forward to seeing a stage again.

Regarding Europe, our tour was really great, we had loads of fun overall and we covered some good ground doing that tour. We made some lifelong friends and we just had an overall amazing experience that side. With that said, we are currently working on a follow up tour for June 2011.

We also had some new merch printed, so check that out. Mail us to order stuff. Its great quality Fruit Of The Loom t-shirts so yeah, top notch folks.

Lastly, we have been lucky enough to be playing two legs on the Becoming The Archetype SA Tour later this year during September/October. This is something we're all really excited about and we really do feel blessed to say the least to be getting this opportunity. If you're unfamiliar with BTA, please honestly make your way over to their website immediately. www.becomingthearchetype.com or www.myspace.com/becomingthearchetype

On that note, we'll be leaving you guys. Hopefully we'll see you guys sooner than later. Take care.

approached various companies to assist with tour sponsorship and its been
a bit dry you could say. If you know of anyone that could assist us in any way
with any sponsorship for this tour, please get in touch, every bit helps. We
really hope to see you at the show. All the bands playing on the night have
agreed to help us by playing this show for free. WE THANK THEM

Launch Tour Report
10/11/2009
An absolutely huge thanks is in order for everyone who supported our launch tour so far, whether that be coming to a show or buying an album, a shirt or a button, or just hanging out and chatting to us, thank you all so much. Its been really great so far, we've been lucky enough to meet and hang with the coolest people in South Africa.
PE & East London were both really cool, the Sundowners show was also really epic. Bloem was amazing too and its great to see people getting into the whole idea of positive hardcore and our message overall. We've had a good couple people share words after the shows about being positive and how awesome it is to see a band talking about it, we're stoked and it seems our message is making its waves of late, we hope we can continue to push the boundaries.

Our album so far seems to be doing really really well and we're very happy with how its been received so far. Within about two weeks, it will actually be available in Look & Listen stores nationwide, so please if you have not picked one up yet, make your way out to L & L and get yours. This coming weekend will be the final show for our launch tour, which will be at Black Dahlia in Boksburg, so hopefully we'll see you all at the show then.
We've also been booked for the NO STRINGS ATTACHED FEST to be held in Durban on the 5th December, so we're really stoked on that. We've wanted to make it out to Durban before the year end and finally we got the chance, we look forward to that. Also, as most of you know, the Lionheart tour has been cancelled and so have all the shows, so we wont be doing those dates, all except the Black Dahlia show, which is basically to raise lost money that Jadd from Stand Firm put into the tour so far. Come through and support!

Till next time, take care -

Album Launch Tour.
21/09/2009
Hopefully we will see you guys at one of these shows. We've been writing new material which will be included in our set as well, so we're really amped to show you guys what's been going in our camp.

New Website, Debut Album, New Merch & New Myspace.
10/09/2009
Hey guys,
So its been months since we have had anything to say regarding our album and stuff like that. We have been so busy playing shows and of course busy helping piece that Have Heart + Shipwreck AD tour together that we kinda let everything else slide back a little. Anyway, we're sorry. We have basically remodelled our everything for our debut album which should hit the streets on our launch tour 23rd October, and also hit stores by latest 31st October. The album "Sending the hope home" will be available in Look & Listen stores nationwide. Also, if anyone is viewing this site from Europe, our album should be available through Goodlife Recordings & Disobedience Distribution.

Please check the "escape" area for tour dates on our launch tour. Also, we are currently booking a European tour alongside Oceans With Tragedy (NL) and She Sleeps Forever (UK). Hopefully those dates should all be finalised within 2009, so that 2010 we can push that tour and break some new ground. We are really looking forward to that tour.

Well, I think thats pretty much it for now, as soon as more news becomes available, we will let you all in on it. Till then, take care -
